Non-hazardous waste management

Waste assessment

Sp-Berner as a plastic products manufacturer not only complies with environmental regulations, but actively preserves the environment by recycling waste.

We have created a process for grinding and converting various non-hazardous plastic residues into raw materials and we use them in our production processes to create new products. This is a mechanism to protect the environment, avoiding the generation of residues and reducing consumption of raw materials.

Sp-Berner is authorized and registered in the General Register of Licenced Waste Managers of Valencia, with reference number 256/V/RNP/CV, for management operations, specifically Valuation R3, of the following non-hazardous waste:

Integrated Management System (IMS)

To achieve the effective waste management of our products packaging we need the contribution and coordination of the different people involved in the Integrated Management System of packages and packages waste. This allows us to complete the cycle: from packaging design and manufacture, packaging, distribution and commercialization of the product, to packages waste recovery and its transformation into a new raw material through recycling.

Sp-Berner is a member of Ecoembes, a non-profit organization that coordinates the Integrated Management System (IMS) for the recovery and recycling of used packages and light packages waste (plastic, metal and briks) and paper and cardboard packages.

All the packages used by Sp-Berner are printed with the Green Dot, which symbolizes our environmental commitment as a member of Ecoembes and our compliance with Law 11/1997 on packages and packages waste.
